The fair opens at 4pm on Monday through Friday and opens at 12pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday through Thursday, the fair closes at 10pm, and on Friday and Saturday, the fair closes at 11pm.

Rides require tickets.

Ride Ticket prices are listed at the ride tickets booth along with any Unlimited Ticket Passes or Wristbands which may be available from the amusements vendor. The Cabarrus Fair does NOT set pricing or provide the amusements tickets. Those are exclusively provide by the amusements vendor inside the fair.

There is a large variety of food throughout the grounds. Like:

  • Roasted Corn
  • Cotton Candy
  • Funnel Cake
  • Turkey Legs
  • Kabobs
  • Ice Cream
  • and so much more!

Yes.  There is ample parking available and we even have parking attendants to direct you to the closest available spot so you can get into the fun as quickly as possible.

Free parking Mondays through Thursdays.

You can online only, but to more quickly get visitors into the fairgrounds, our onsite ticket booths only accept cash. However, we do have ATM’s located next to the ticket booth so you can grab the cash you need for admission tickets and ride tickets.

Absolutely! The Cabarrus Fair wants your entire family to enjoy the fun, even if the little ones tend to get tired out a little sooner than the rest of the family.

Safety is our top concern.  We have security personnel from the local Sheriff’s office located both outside and inside the fairgrounds.  

Prices, policies, programs, schedules, entertainment and shows are subject to change or cancellation without notice. The Fair is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced tickets and/or tickets. Ticket holder assume responsibility for him/her self as well as for each minor in the charge of ticket holder. No rain checks. No refunds. The Cabarrus Fair reserves the right, without any refund of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission to or eject any person from the Fair for inappropriate conduct. Persons entering the facility assume all risks incidental to the event.

The Fair is open rain or shine. However, bad or severe weather can close, delay or cancel the fair entirely or just some attractions and events. In the event of cancelations and/or inclement weather, the Cabarrus Fair does not offer refunds or rain checks.

The Sheriff’s and EMS Stations are located in front of the main office near the entrance.

ALL PERSONS ENTERING THE CABARRUS FAIR ARE SUBJECT TO RANDOM SEARCH! THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED ON THE FAIRGROUNDS:

  • Backpacks and bags larger than 17” x 14” x 8”
  • All bags are subject to search before entering.
  • Weapons
  • Alcohol, Illegal drugs or substances
  • Bicycles, skateboards,  roller skates or hoverboards
  • Balloons of any kind
  • Drones
  • Fireworks
  • Laser pointers
  • Banners, signs, posters or fliers
  • Bull horns or air horns
  • Food and beverages of any type
  • Coolers, bottles, and cans
  • Glass containers
  • Lawn chairs
  • Pets
  • Selfie Sticks

Every ride has different requirements and are post at the entrance to each ride or amusement.

Show your Active Military ID at the ticket booth and receive 1/2 off your adult admission ticket.

NO. The Cabarrus Fair is not affiliated with, sponsored by, sanctioned or organized by any city, county, state or federal organization, government or agency. The Cabarrus Fair is a privately owned and operated entity.

The Cabarrus Fair is an open, public event. Professional photographers or media contracted or employed by the Fair, and local reporters will be present taking pictures and video footage at the event. These images may be used, without further notification, at a later date to market this event. All persons entering the Fair are subject to having their image and/or likeness reproduced for promotional and/or publicity purposes in Fair, Sponsor or Media photography, video, broadcasts and/or webcasts.
